About About the place

The Museum of Yugoslav History is a complex dedicated to the life and work of Josip Broz Tito, the former leader of Yugoslavia, and the history of the country itself. The site encompasses several buildings, including the 'House of Flowers' – Tito’s mausoleum – the Old Museum, and the 25th May Museum. Exhibits include a vast collection of gifts presented to Tito during his lifetime, displays relating to his role in the Non-Aligned Movement, and insights into the socio-political landscape of Yugoslavia. The museum’s presentation of history has been noted as sometimes focusing heavily on Tito, with less emphasis on the broader Yugoslavian narrative, though recent efforts have been made to address this.

While making our itinerary, we included this place towards the end and thought that incase we are behind time, we will skip it. But thank God, we didn’t because it was one of the greatest places to visit. Easily accessible, conveniently located, gorgeous location and the easy navigation for the entire tour of this place made it much more fun and enjoyable. I will suggest everyone to please visit this place.

I have visited many museums but this by far has been the best and the most beautiful museums i visited. The display is arranged in such a manner that it all looks like some big art. The pieces of the collection are just marvellous and the audio guide present there gives away all the information you need to make it more interesting.

The [sight.name] is home to a huge collection of art pieces and painting, few of which are really renowned and popular. We got this amazing opportunity to visit this place, get to know the history associated with it and see everything. As an art student and lover, this place was a heaven for me.

The cafe is a little place situated in the middle of the buzzing market of the city and is a cute little place with a really warm ambience and very nice and friendly people and staff. The food was great and had a lot of amazing local flavors. It was totally worth the visit and we really enjoyed the food and hospitality.

This park is amazing and has beautiful scenery. It is a perfect spot to take a good walk or even go for a run. There is a dedicated trail, well managed in the park. The trees by the trail are just beautiful and provide a lot of good air. There are also benches in the park where you can sit and relax.

This was a beautiful park which has pretty scenery and lush greenery. It has walking pathways with proper trails lined with pretty trees and there are also plenty of benches to sit there for the people. The musical fountain was the highlight and it was amazing.

I always wanted to visit this city as it was on my bucket list and there is so much to see here that you really really fell in love with the culture, the buildings, the people and the food of this place. We took the tour package where the guide took us to all the main spots and apart from it, we were able to enjoy so much at the markets of the city and shopped so much stuff.. We had a great tour of this place thanks to our amazing guide and friend. He made sure that we know everything about the place and even went above and beyond with showing off things, being hospitable and having a great interaction with. The tour of the place was made awesome only because of his knowledge and kindness.

It was a pleasing and an interesting visit to this great museum. They had a huge collection of fascinating artefacts and culturally infused items. I really enjoyed a few parts of it. It is quite big so you might feel a little bored in between. You can skip through whatever doesn't interest you.

We went to this place which is amazing and we booked the entire suite for the family. Everybody had a great time and we really enjoyed our stay. The service and the staff was superb and we were able to indulge in their spa as well which was awesome. Must visit place for everybody.. The place was great, ambience was amazing and the food was delicious and it brought back a lot of memories of your childhood days since the concept of the place was to make customers nostalgic about the comfort food everyone used to have. It was simply incredible.
