The I. Goncharov Historical and Memorial Center Museum is located in the beautifully preserved house where the renowned Russian author Ivan Goncharov once lived. Recently updated and relocated to the corner of Goncharova and Lenina streets, the museum offers a detailed look into Goncharov’s life, literary achievements, and the domestic interior design of the period. Exhibits focus on furniture, personal belongings, and recreations of significant moments, including a captivating display of Goncharov’s travels featuring a ship model and ambient sounds.
