Komsomol Square is a prominent public space in Khabarovsk, situated at the end of Muravyov-Amursky Street. It serves as a focal point for both locals and visitors, offering a blend of historical and cultural attractions. The square is home to the Uspensky Cathedral, a significant religious landmark, and a monument commemorating the heroes of the war. Its location near the Amur River embankment and a major city street contributes to a vibrant atmosphere. During the summer months, pony rides are often available for children, and the square hosts various events. Stairs lead down to Muravyov-Amursky Park and the riverfront, providing scenic views.
The cathedral is hundreds of years old and has a magnificent architecture. The murals and the walls are simply stunning. We got a chance to witness the prayer ceremony and it was divine. Do visit this place and do enjoy it.
