Spartak Stadium, also known as Otkrytiye Arena, is a state-of-the-art football stadium located in Moscow, Russia. It serves as the home ground for FC Spartak Moscow and played a significant role in hosting matches during the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup and the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The stadium is notable for its distinctive design, often likened to a Faberge egg, and its modern facilities. Beyond football, the arena also hosts concerts and other large-scale events. Visitors appreciate its convenient location with access to the metro and parking, but some have noted organizational challenges during peak events.
We decided to take the stadium tour along with our friends and we really enjoyed it. We got to see all parts of the stadium which are generally off limits during a normal visit and also got to check out the museum and learned a lot about players and the locker room and what all goes behind the game.
