George Enescu Memorial House is the villa built by the renowned Romanian composer, George Enescu, reflecting his personal vision. Donated to the Romanian State, it now serves as a museum dedicated to his life and legacy. The house offers a glimpse into Enescu’s modest lifestyle and creative environment, from his traditionally decorated bedroom to the room where he taught Yehudi Menuhin. The building’s location near the train line was intentionally chosen by Enescu, a passionate railway enthusiast. The museum preserves the atmosphere of the composer’s home, displaying memorabilia and occasionally hosting concerts.
It was one the greatest experiences we had. We loved the place and more than the place the people were simply amazing. The hospitality and the warmth provided to us was beyond expectation and we are forever grateful.
The place is so beautiful that I could not take my eyes off it. The place is a heritage building which has stunning architecture and the Victorian style walls are simply amazing. We visited the place on a weekday and it had a lot of people. But things were arranged in a proper way and we could have the tour nicely.
We were so excited to visit this place but were thoroughly disappointed while reaching and looking at the mismanaged affair. The place was crowded with tourists and there was no system to arrange them. The staff was also very rude.
This is a marvellous place and has many things to see. We took a road trip to see this place and the journey was also great. The views along the way are stunning and fill your heart with all the warmth. Once you reach there, you simply forget everything else and enjoy the scenic views and appreciate the beauty all around.
