The Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary boasts a unique history, having been originally constructed in the late 15th century in the village of Zębice. It was later purchased and transported to Gliwice, undergoing a period of disassembly and reconstruction. The church’s journey included a time standing in a graveyard before its final placement beside an old German cemetery, where exhumed remains were respectfully managed. Today, it stands as a well-preserved wooden church, featuring interior paintings and offering a quiet, contemplative space for visitors. Its location is slightly removed from the city center, requiring a walk to reach.
