Jezioro Rusalka is an artificial lake located within Poznań, Poland. Created during the Nazi occupation in 1943 using Jewish slave labor, the lake is now a popular recreational area for locals. Surrounded by a park, it provides a natural escape within the city, offering a 3.5 km circumference trail ideal for walking, jogging, and cycling. A beach area on the north side provides swimming facilities, and the lake is connected to other recreational areas like Kiekrz, Wola, and Strzeszynek via marked trails. While the water quality isn't always ideal for swimming, Rusalka remains a valued space for outdoor activities and enjoying nature.
