Mt. Naupa is a popular hiking destination located near Naga City, Cebu. The trek to the summit is considered beginner-friendly, taking approximately 40-50 minutes at a normal pace. The trail passes through local farmland and offers occasional views along the way. Visitors often encounter friendly stray dogs accompanying them on the hike. The peak provides panoramic views, particularly beautiful during sunrise or sunset, and can be exceptionally clear with fog rolling in. Transportation to the trailhead is readily available via bus or Grab to Brgy Tungkop, followed by a short motorcycle ride. While signages are limited, locals are generally helpful. Night trekking is also a popular option, requiring a reliable light source.
It is a great place to stay and gives you much luxury and comfort at a great price. The service is great and the management was very prompt and was very helpful and assisted us with everything. The rooms were big and spacious, well maintained and the views from the window of the city skyline was just stunning. Loved my experience here!
