The EDSA Shrine is a Catholic church and monument located along Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) in Metro Manila, Philippines. Built in 1989, it commemorates the first People Power Revolution that led to the ousting of President Ferdinand Marcos. The shrine is dominated by a large statue of the Virgin Mary and serves as a place of worship, reflection, and remembrance of the significant historical events that unfolded on EDSA. While historically significant, some visitors note a degree of neglect in its upkeep. It continues to host regular masses and serves as a rest stop for commuters.
We decided to visit this place and I think that because it was the weekend, it was too crowded. We were not able to have a good tour since so many people were there and it was not a very nice experience. The place seemed good but I guess the crowd ruined it for us.
This is a must visit place in the city and it is beautiful. The place is centrally located and you can easily reach it. The stories and the facts of this place are very interesting and make way for an entertaining tour.
This is one of the most iconic and interesting buildings of the city where the architecture of this place speaks volume of its importance. It is a great place to visit and its tour throws some light on the history and working of this place.
The cathedral is hundreds of years old and has a magnificent architecture. The murals and the walls are simply stunning. We got a chance to witness the prayer ceremony and it was divine. Do visit this place and do enjoy it.
Our journey to this place was nothing less than a magnificent memory. This is the most beautiful place I have visited and stayed. I have never experienced luxury like that and the hospitality was top notch. I am still so grateful for all the people who hosted us and took us on an incredible journey.
There was nothing special about this speciality hotel and it was such a disappointment. The place was literally in ruins and it pinches me to see all my money goes to waste. The rooms were really dirty and unkept and the service was pathetic. I wont recommend this to anyone and it was the worst experience.
