Governor House

Governor House Karachi is a significant landmark in the city, representing British colonial architecture and Pakistan's early history. Built during British rule in India, it served as the residence of the Governor of Sindh Province. The building is particularly notable for its association with Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan, who resided there and took his oath as the first Governor General on its grounds. The house features three wings, including the Royal Suite reserved for visiting dignitaries, and the Darbar Hall, used for official ceremonies. It showcases historical artifacts and photographs related to Jinnah and his family.
