Wakan Village is a small, traditional settlement nestled high in the Western Hajar Mountains of Oman, approximately 150 km from Muscat. Situated at an elevation of 2,000 meters, the village is known for its terraced gardens, cultivating fruits like pomegranates, apricots, figs, and grapes. Access requires a 4WD vehicle due to the steep and unpaved final stretch of road. Visitors can explore the village on foot, climbing over 700 steps, and enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and Wadi Mistal. The village relies on agriculture and farming for its livelihood, offering a unique cultural experience.
