The Commercial Centre of Alofi serves as the island's primary shopping and service area. It's a compact, quadrangle-shaped center housing a range of businesses, including grocery stores, a bank (Kiwibank), the post office, telecommunications services, hairdressers, an art gallery, and a few smaller shops selling souvenirs and general goods. An Indian restaurant and takeaway options are also available. While convenient, visitors should be aware that opening hours can be inconsistent, reflecting the relaxed pace of life on Niue. The centre also features a small playground and seating area.
