The Gurdich Gate is a historic entrance to the walled city of Kotor, Montenegro. Often overlooked by tourists who favor the Sea Gate, it provides a more peaceful access point to the Old Town. The gate is characterized by its proximity to the Gurdic spring, a clear water source, and the opportunity to climb sections of the city walls. Its location at the southern end of the Old Town offers a different perspective and a less congested experience. The gate’s construction reflects the city’s defensive needs throughout history, and its surroundings provide a charming and photogenic atmosphere.
This place is filled with tourist attractions so you have a lot of options for sightseeing. We made a list of places we wanted to see and missed out on a few museums and other places. Overall we really liked the city and the places here and it was an amazing vacation with the family.
