The Church of Blazena Ozana is a historic Catholic church located in the heart of Kotor’s Old Town, Montenegro. Originally built in 1221 on the site of a 6th-century basilica, the church holds significant religious and cultural importance. It is particularly known for its remarkable 20th-century bronze doors, intricately decorated with bas-reliefs depicting the life of Blessed Ozana of Cattaro, a local nun who is said to have foretold an Ottoman siege. Inside, visitors can view 15th-century frescoes created by Greek artists and the preserved remains of Blessed Ozana. The church offers a glimpse into Kotor’s rich history and artistic heritage.
