The Kotor Serpentine is a historic route traversing the mountains between Cetinje and Kotor in Montenegro. Known for its numerous hairpin turns, the road provides breathtaking panoramic views of the Bay of Kotor and surrounding landscapes. The drive is challenging but rewarding, with opportunities to stop at viewpoints and the village of Njegusi, the birthplace of the Petrović dynasty. Local produce is available in Njegusi, and small cabins offer accommodation for hikers and bikers. Traffic can be heavy, particularly after 10 am, and the road is best navigated downwards.
