Pulau Sembilan is a group of nine uninhabited islands located approximately 15-20 kilometers off the southern coast of Perak, Malaysia. Accessible by boat from Lumut, the islands are gaining popularity as a destination for day trips and overnight camping. The primary draws are the diverse marine life for diving and snorkeling, and the spectacular bioluminescence – often referred to as 'blue tears' – caused by phytoplankton, visible at night. Currently, a few operators provide full-service packages including transfer, accommodation (typically camping), and dining. The islands are relatively undeveloped, offering a rustic and natural experience.
We were so excited to visit this place but were thoroughly disappointed while reaching and looking at the mismanaged affair. The place was crowded with tourists and there was no system to arrange them. The staff was also very rude.
