Lim Jetty is one of Penang's historic clan jetties, built over the water by early Chinese settlers. Unlike some of the more tourist-focused jetties, Lim Jetty retains a strong sense of community and daily life. Visitors can walk along the wooden boardwalks, observe the unique architecture of the houses built on stilts, and experience a quieter, more authentic side of Penang. The Sun Moon Temple, dedicated to the Lim clan deity, is a central feature. The area is characterized by its peaceful atmosphere and views over the bay, with limited commercial activity.
