The Am Tunnel (BCEE Bâtiment Rousegaertchen) is a unique cultural space located beneath the headquarters of the Spuerkeess bank in Luxembourg City. Originally constructed as a resistance tunnel during World War II, the 75-meter-long, 1-kilometer-long tunnel now serves as a gallery for temporary art exhibitions, including a permanent display of works by Luxembourg-born photographer Edward Steichen. The gallery is free to enter during banking hours and on Sunday afternoons, offering a surprising and accessible art experience.
