Abu Darwish Mosque, constructed in 1961, is a prominent landmark in Amman, Jordan, situated atop Jebel al-Ashrafiyeh. Built with alternating layers of white and black stone sourced from Horan, the mosque stands out from other religious structures in the region. While primarily a place of worship, its unique design attracts attention, and visitors appreciate the opportunity to observe its architecture and enjoy the views of the city. The mosque covers an area of 2,500 square meters and features six domes and a 36-meter tall minaret. It reflects a Levantine influence in its construction.
This is the most popular market of the town and is very vibrant and bustling all the time. It is a perfect place to shop for the beautiful souvenirs or check our local artists' work which is truly incredible. The people are also friendly and nice here and you can also check out some of the amazing street food available in this market.
It is the most beautiful building I witnessed which is architecturally detailed. The building structure was royal and the building exhibits a regal vibe to it. Visiting this place was an amazing experience and the place is truly a stunning place.
