Takeo no Okusu is a peaceful shrine distinguished by its predominantly white structures, a departure from the more common black and orange color schemes found in Japanese shrines. The primary draw for visitors is the exceptionally old and large camphor tree located a short walk from the main shrine buildings. This tree is hollow and contains a miniature shrine inside, creating a unique and spiritual atmosphere. The area is considered a 'power spot' by many Japanese people, believed to possess positive energy. Parking is limited, and the access road can be narrow.
