The Trono di Attila is a weathered stone throne located near the Museo Provinciale di Torcello in Venice. Despite its name, historical evidence suggests Attila the Hun never actually sat upon it. The throne dates back to the 5th century and was likely used by the island’s governor for meetings. Today, it primarily serves as a popular spot for tourists to take photographs, often overlooking its historical context in favor of the novelty of 'sitting on the throne'. It is situated amongst other ancient artifacts in a grassy area near the museum entrance.
