The Arco Etrusco is a significant archaeological site in Perugia, dating back to the 3rd century B.C. Constructed by the Etruscans, it stands as one of the few remaining entrance gates to the ancient city. The archway showcases the Etruscans' advanced engineering skills and has been continuously used and maintained throughout the centuries, with later additions by the Romans and in the 16th century. Its location near Palazzo Gallenga and the university adds to its accessibility and cultural context. Walking through the arch provides a tangible connection to Perugia’s rich history.
It is a great place to stay and gives you much luxury and comfort at a great price. The service is great and the management was very prompt and was very helpful and assisted us with everything. The rooms were big and spacious, well maintained and the views from the window of the city skyline was just stunning. Loved my experience here!. This is an amazing place and a must see for all the visitors. It is adorned with beautiful interiors and historic walls. The stories of the past of this building are incredible and the view is just awesome.
Our journey to this place was nothing less than a magnificent memory. This is the most beautiful place I have visited and stayed. I have never experienced luxury like that and the hospitality was top notch. I am still so grateful for all the people who hosted us and took us on an incredible journey.
