The Teatro Romano in Gubbio is a well-preserved Roman theatre situated at the foot of the hill upon which the medieval town lies. Constructed during the first century AD using local limestone, the theatre once accommodated around 3,000 spectators. While a modern metallic fence partially obstructs views of the arches, the site remains accessible and offers a tangible connection to the region's Roman heritage. Adjacent to the theatre is an archaeological museum built over an ancient temple and archaeological site, showcasing pottery, jewelry, mosaics, and other artifacts discovered in the area.
It was so wonderful to see this place and we are really thankful for our amazing guide and friend who showed us around everything and told us all about this place. The place is exceptionally good and the scenery was stunning. We had the most amazing time and we are glad to have experienced this wonderful vacation.. The hotel is very well built and is clean and nice. The room was big and cozy and comfortable and the views from the room are just stunning and beautiful. We got the beach view and it was amazing.
The hotel was a nice place to stay and the best part here was the free wifi and free parking which is the hardest thing to find in this city. The hotel was well equipped and the staff was very professional. The rooms were big enough and it was a decent stay which also included breakfast.
It was a gorgeous day and we decided to have a picnic in the beautiful park surrounded by nature and beauty. The place had beautiful scenic scenes and with some homemade food, we loved the refreshing and calming experience.. Our journey to this place was nothing less than a magnificent memory. This is the most beautiful place I have visited and stayed. I have never experienced luxury like that and the hospitality was top notch. I am still so grateful for all the people who hosted us and took us on an incredible journey.
