The Cattedrale di San Feliciano in Foligno is a historically significant cathedral dating back to the 12th century, built on the site of an earlier basilica. Constructed in a Romanesque style, it features two facades – one facing Piazza Grande and another overlooking Piazza della Repubblica. The cathedral is characterized by its distinctive striped pink and white stone exterior, adorned with mosaics, arches, and rose windows. Inside, a prominent feature is the baldachin over the main altar, a 1698 reproduction of the one in St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. Dedicated to Saint Felician, the cathedral has undergone restoration following earthquake damage in recent years. While artistically rich, it is sometimes overlooked by tourists due to the abundance of impressive churches in the Umbria region.

This is an amazing place and a must see for all the visitors. It is adorned with beautiful interiors and historic walls. The stories of the past of this building are incredible and the view is just awesome.
