The Bosco di San Francesco is a wooded hillside and valley near Assisi, restored to resemble the landscape known to St. Francis. Accessible through a gate near the Basilica, the trail descends through well-maintained paths to the Santa Croce church and onward to the 'Third Paradise' – fields of olive trees. The area features a sculpture garden at the beginning of the trail and offers a tranquil experience away from the bustling town center. It's managed by the FAI (Italian National Trust) and a voluntary donation is suggested.
Staying at this place was an absolute delight because the people hosting us were incredible and marvellous. They were kind, warm and super friendly. They showed us around, made our stay memorable and comfortable and helped us with all our queries and made sure that we have the best time. Thank you once again for being this amazing.. The place is so beautiful that I could not take my eyes off it. The place is a heritage building which has stunning architecture and the Victorian style walls are simply amazing. We visited the place on a weekday and it had a lot of people. But things were arranged in a proper way and we could have the tour nicely.
If you visit this place, you wont be able to believe your eyes, because this place is stunningly beautiful. The location is too pretty and the sights are breathtaking. It is a hot spot for tourists and is crowded by people during the main times but it is so much worth a visit. It is simply great.
Going through the streets of this vibrant marketplace, you get to see so much and can explore numerous places to shop or simply window shop. Try out the street delicacies and enjoy the street performances and simply indulge in the spirit and the vibe of this city by taking a walk through here.
The cathedral is hundreds of years old and has a magnificent architecture. The murals and the walls are simply stunning. We got a chance to witness the prayer ceremony and it was divine. Do visit this place and do enjoy it.
This park is amazing and has beautiful scenery. It is a perfect spot to take a good walk or even go for a run. There is a dedicated trail, well managed in the park. The trees by the trail are just beautiful and provide a lot of good air. There are also benches in the park where you can sit and relax.
It was one the greatest experiences we had. We loved the place and more than the place the people were simply amazing. The hospitality and the warmth provided to us was beyond expectation and we are forever grateful.
