The Martelli pasta factory, located in the charming village of Lari, is a small, family-owned operation dedicated to traditional pasta-making techniques. Visitors can take a guided tour to learn about the process, from selecting the wheat to shaping the pasta, and observe some of the machinery in action. The factory has been preserving Tuscan pasta-making traditions for generations, using semolina for a healthier product. A shop next door offers the opportunity to purchase their pasta, which is distributed worldwide. While tours are generally available, it's advisable to confirm availability, especially during the month of August.
The trip was totally amazing, beautiful scenery, wonderful guides, great food, and active adventures. It was an excellent experience and tour for me and my family.
