Il Santuario di S'arcu es Forros is an archaeological site located in the mountainous region of Sardinia, approximately 1000 meters above sea level. Excavations beginning in the 1980s have revealed two temples, furnaces, and the foundations of numerous buildings, suggesting a substantial population of farmers, warriors, artists, and metalworkers once inhabited the area. Hundreds of unexcavated structures surround the excavated site, hinting at further discoveries. The site offers a glimpse into the ancient history of Sardinia and the lives of its early inhabitants. A guide is often available to provide detailed explanations of the findings and historical context.
