Castello di San Michele is a significant historical site in Cagliari, Sardinia, situated on a hill overlooking the city. Originally part of the ancient Castell of Cagliari, the area has seen control pass through Phoenician, Carthaginian, Roman, Vandal, Byzantine, Pisan, Catalan, Spanish, and Savoyard hands. While the castle itself has undergone modern renovations, it now serves as an exhibition space. The surrounding park offers walking routes with stunning views, and a restaurant is available for evening dining. Nearby attractions include the Museum of Archaeology, the Jewish Ghetto, and several historic churches and palaces.
It is a great place to stay and gives you much luxury and comfort at a great price. The service is great and the management was very prompt and was very helpful and assisted us with everything. The rooms were big and spacious, well maintained and the views from the window of the city skyline was just stunning. Loved my experience here!
We were so excited to visit this place but were thoroughly disappointed while reaching and looking at the mismanaged affair. The place was crowded with tourists and there was no system to arrange them. The staff was also very rude.
