La Cartapesta di Claudio Riso is a family-run workshop in Lecce, Italy, dedicated to the preservation and practice of cartapesta, a traditional art form involving the creation of sculptures using paper mache. The Riso brothers – Claudio, Sandro, and Giuseppe – continue a legacy of craftsmanship, creating intricate and beautiful figures by hand. Guests are invited to witness the entire process, from the initial shaping of the paper mache to the final painted details. The shop offers a wide selection of these unique artworks, ranging in size and complexity, providing a tangible piece of Salento culture.
It was one the greatest experiences we had. We loved the place and more than the place the people were simply amazing. The hospitality and the warmth provided to us was beyond expectation and we are forever grateful.
This is an excellent restaurant which is the new opening in the town and also the talk of the town. The delicacies prepared here are awesome and delicious. The chefs have all come from outside and serve the best of gourmet food. It was exotic and tasty array of food and I highly recommend this place to everyone. Just awesome!!
Our journey to this place was nothing less than a magnificent memory. This is the most beautiful place I have visited and stayed. I have never experienced luxury like that and the hospitality was top notch. I am still so grateful for all the people who hosted us and took us on an incredible journey.
