Chiesa di Santa Chiara is a Baroque church located in the center of Lecce, Italy. It is distinguished by its single octagonal nave, creating a more intimate atmosphere than many other Baroque churches in the city. The church features intricate decorations, including a papier-mâché ceiling and richly decorated side chapels. Designed by Giuseppe Zimbalo, the facade remains unfinished. Visitors appreciate the church's bright interior, unusual use of papier-mâché, and the presence of real candles for prayer.
Our journey to this place was nothing less than a magnificent memory. This is the most beautiful place I have visited and stayed. I have never experienced luxury like that and the hospitality was top notch. I am still so grateful for all the people who hosted us and took us on an incredible journey.
