The Fontana Contarini is a prominent feature of Piazza Vecchia, the heart of Bergamo's Città Alta (Upper City). Originally constructed as a water reservoir, it was a gift from a Venetian noble family. The fountain combines classical elements, including lion statues and more stylized, Grecian-inspired goddesses. It serves not only as an aesthetic element but also provides fresh, potable water, making it a welcome sight for visitors, especially during the warm summer months. The piazza surrounding the fountain is a hub of activity, with cafes, restaurants, and often, live music performances.
There was nothing special about this speciality hotel and it was such a disappointment. The place was literally in ruins and it pinches me to see all my money goes to waste. The rooms were really dirty and unkept and the service was pathetic. I wont recommend this to anyone and it was the worst experience.
We went to this place which is amazing and we booked the entire suite for the family. Everybody had a great time and we really enjoyed our stay. The service and the staff was superb and we were able to indulge in their spa as well which was awesome. Must visit place for everybody.
It is the most beautiful building I witnessed which is architecturally detailed. The building structure was royal and the building exhibits a regal vibe to it. Visiting this place was an amazing experience and the place is truly a stunning place.
The cathedral is hundreds of years old and has a magnificent architecture. The murals and the walls are simply stunning. We got a chance to witness the prayer ceremony and it was divine. Do visit this place and do enjoy it.
