Olgiata Golf Club is a private course situated within a gated community approximately a 30-minute taxi ride from central Rome. While primarily a members' club, it welcomes outside visitors. The course is known for its challenging layout featuring numerous sand traps and water hazards, along with fast greens. Rental clubs are available, and the clubhouse offers dining options. Transportation to and from the city can be costly, with potential surcharges for return trips. Advance tee time bookings are not consistently offered, so checking ahead is advisable.
We were so excited to visit this place but were thoroughly disappointed while reaching and looking at the mismanaged affair. The place was crowded with tourists and there was no system to arrange them. The staff was also very rude.
