Eshkol Park

Eshkol Park is a national park located in the northern Negev desert, Israel. The area served as a crucial stopping point for ancient Egyptian Pharaohs traveling north, and later played a significant role during World War I as a regrouping location for ANZAC forces before the Battle of Beer Sheba. The park features a mostly dry riverbed, the B'sor, which maintains green vegetation throughout the year. Visitors can explore well-marked trails, remnants of an old railway bridge and wagon, and enjoy picnicking and camping opportunities. The park is particularly beautiful in February-March when red windflowers bloom.
