Ticho House, located in the heart of West Jerusalem, is a beautifully preserved building that served as both the home and clinic of Dr. Avraham Ticho, a renowned ophthalmologist, and the residence of his artist wife, Anna Ticho. The house now functions as a museum displaying Anna Ticho’s artwork, primarily sketches and paintings of Jerusalem and its people, alongside exhibits detailing the Tichos’ lives and Dr. Ticho’s pioneering medical work. The building also features a restaurant and a coffee shop, and retains a peaceful garden setting despite its central location. The house is part of the Israel Museum network and hosts both permanent and temporary exhibitions of Israeli artists.
