Ghonbad Sabz is a historical tomb dating back approximately 500 years to the Safavid era. The structure, distinguished by its green exterior (sabz meaning green in Persian), serves as the final resting place of Sheikh Momen. It stands as a notable example of traditional mausoleum architecture. Located centrally within a traffic circle bearing the same name, the site is steeped in local lore, with stories surrounding the canals that once graced its surroundings best shared by residents. While the identity of Sheikh Momen may be unknown to some, the building itself is widely appreciated for its aesthetic qualities and historical importance.
