Chalidareh Dam

Chalidareh Dam is a popular tourist destination located just outside of Mashhad, Iran. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes by car or minibus, depending on traffic. The area features a small dam and lake, surrounded by mountains, offering a cooler climate than the city. Visitors can enjoy a variety of recreational activities, including a 38-meter bungee jumping tower, a zipline, boat rentals (paddle, speed, and ferry), a chairlift, and a small zoo. There are also refreshment stalls, restaurants, and a small mosque on site. While the scenery is pleasant, some visitors have noted that the facilities and prices can be somewhat expensive.
