The Bazaar of Isfahan is a sprawling, centuries-old commercial hub located adjacent to the Naqsh-e Jahan Square. Approximately 400 years old, its architecture is a significant feature, and it’s known for its diverse selection of goods, ranging from handmade crafts like carpets, ceramics, and metalwork to spices, sweets, and everyday items. The bazaar isn't a single, unified structure but rather a network of interconnected markets, each with its own character. While the areas closest to the square cater more to tourists, venturing deeper reveals a more authentic local shopping experience. It's a place to immerse oneself in Iranian culture, observe daily life, and engage with local artisans.
We stayed in for one night here and the hotel was too expensive and not at all worth it. The place was a little crappy in shape and a lot of maintenance was going on and all the rooms were not even furnished properly. But we had no other option and had to stay therefore had to sacrifice and paid extra to stay a night.
This is a marvellous place and has many things to see. We took a road trip to see this place and the journey was also great. The views along the way are stunning and fill your heart with all the warmth. Once you reach there, you simply forget everything else and enjoy the scenic views and appreciate the beauty all around.
