Shahrestan Bridge, also known as Jey Bridge, is the oldest bridge spanning the Zayandeh Rud river in Isfahan. Its foundations date back to the Sasanian era, with significant renovations occurring during the Deylamian and Seljuk dynasties. Constructed primarily of brick and stone, the bridge served as a crucial junction connecting the two sides of Isfahan. While the riverbed is often dry due to water diversion, the bridge remains a significant historical and architectural landmark. It provides access to the Armenian quarter and is near the Isfahan Exhibition site.
