Sofeh Mountain

Sofeh Mountain is a popular destination located approximately 8 km from the Isfahan bazaar, at an elevation of just under 1600m. The area combines natural beauty with recreational facilities, including walking trails, a small zoo, children's play areas, and restaurants. Visitors can ascend the mountain via cable car or by foot, with hiking trails ranging in difficulty. The summit provides panoramic views of Isfahan, making it a favored spot for picnics, relaxation, and enjoying the sunset or illuminated city at night. Rural nomadic families can sometimes be seen living in tents on the mountainside with their animals.
