About About the place

Saria Tal is a small lake situated approximately 5 kilometers from Nainital towards Kaladhungi. Often described as a man-made reservoir, it serves as a convenient stopover for travelers. While smaller than Nainital's main lake, it provides a tranquil setting and opportunities for photography. Basic amenities like tea stalls and water zorbing are available. The surrounding area features some greenery and a small waterfall, though the waterfall's flow can be limited during drier months. It's a popular spot for families and those seeking a quiet moment amidst the hills.

Families with young children, couples seeking a quiet escape, and travelers looking for a convenient stopover on the way to or from Nainital.

I stayed there for a week and it was really great. The place is nice and clean and very spacious. The staff was very attentive. They offer a lot of interesting activities for people to enjoy. The food served here is locally gathered and freshly made and is truly delicious. Overall it was a great sport and an amazing place for families.

Overall we really liked the city and the places here and it was an amazing vacation with the family.. We decided to take on to thi amazing tour package for sightseeing trips to this beautiful city and it was quite a nice experience. We booked a tour package and thought that this would be a good way to see all the major sites of the city but it turned out to be nothing great. The tour bus stopped at all places but had not much time to make us roam around the area. Seemed like they were in a rush all the time and were not good with the local knowledge and culture. It was also expensive, which was not a great thing.
