Ahilyabai Ghat is a prominent ghat in Varanasi, historically known as Kevalgiri Ghat before being rebuilt by Queen Ahilyabai Holkar of Indore in 1778. She was a prolific builder of temples and spiritual residences, including the Kashi Viswanath temple. The ghat is a focal point for devotees who visit to bathe in the Ganges, particularly in the early morning. It is considered one of the first ghats to be named after an individual. Visitors often experience the ghat as part of a boat ride along the river, appreciating its atmosphere and historical significance.
There was nothing special about this speciality hotel and it was such a disappointment. The place was literally in ruins and it pinches me to see all my money goes to waste. The rooms were really dirty and unkept and the service was pathetic. I wont recommend this to anyone and it was the worst experience.. It is just a park which got famous without any reason. The whole family got there so we were so bored. There is nothing to do here. We were so disappointed and just kept roaming around for sometime and came back. The park was also not very well maintained and there was nothing to see here. Very bad experience.
