Nawabganj Wildlife Sanctuary

Nawabganj Wildlife Sanctuary, situated on the Lucknow-Kanpur highway, is a protected area managed by the Uttar Pradesh State Forest Department. Spanning approximately 3 square kilometers, it's particularly renowned as a bird sanctuary, attracting numerous migratory species during the winter. The sanctuary features a large water pond, greenery, watch towers for bird observation, and a guest house with 20 rooms. While promoted as a significant attraction, visitors often note that the sanctuary requires improved maintenance.
