Dilkusha Kothi is a 19th-century house located in Lucknow, India. Originally constructed by Saadat Ali Khan, the Nawab of Awadh, it was designed as a hunting lodge and later served as a summer residence. The building, modeled on an English manor house, suffered damage during the Indian Mutiny of 1857 and now exists as a picturesque ruin. The surrounding gardens are well-maintained, offering a peaceful escape and a glimpse into Lucknow's rich history. The site also holds significance related to British colonial history and the events of 1857.
While making our itinerary, we included this place towards the end and thought that incase we are behind time, we will skip it. But thank God, we didnt because it was one of the greatest places to visit. Easily accessible, conveniently located, gorgeous location and the easy navigation for the entire tour of this place made it much more fun and enjoyable. I will suggest everyone to please visit this place.

Our journey to this place was nothing less than a magnificent memory. This is the most beautiful place I have visited and stayed. The place is so beautiful that I could not take my eyes off it. The place is a heritage building which has stunning architecture and the Victorian style walls are simply amazing. We visited the place on a weekday and it had a lot of people. But things were arranged in a proper way and we could have the tour nicely.
If you have the time, give this place a chance. It is absolutely free and you could find many interesting things to do here. There are few shops available as well where you could shop at cheap rates.
