Subrahmanya Temple, located in the village of Poomparai near Kodaikanal, is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Kartikeya (Subrahmanya). While local tradition and a plaque at the site claim an age exceeding 3000 years, the temple's current structure appears more recent. The temple is known for its peaceful atmosphere, views of Palani hills, and the surrounding landscape. It also houses shrines for Ganesha and the nine planets. Visitors appreciate the calm ambiance and the opportunity for worship and relaxation. The temple is easily accessible and is considered a worthwhile stop during a visit to Kodaikanal.
Our journey to this place was nothing less than a magnificent memory. This is the most beautiful place I have visited and stayed. I have never experienced luxury like that and the hospitality was top notch. I am still so grateful for all the people who hosted us and took us on an incredible journey.
While making our itinerary, we included this place towards the end and thought that incase we are behind time, we will skip it. But thank God, we didnt because it was one of the greatest places to visit. Easily accessible, conveniently located, gorgeous location and the easy navigation for the entire tour of this place made it much more fun and enjoyable. I will suggest everyone to please visit this place.
It is a great place to stay and gives you much luxury and comfort at a great price. The service is great and the management was very prompt and was very helpful and assisted us with everything. The rooms were big and spacious, well maintained and the views from the window of the city skyline was just stunning. Loved my experience here!
