Karamalai Annai Velankanni Church is a Roman Catholic church located approximately 6-10 kilometers from Valparai town. Established in 2003, it's known for its tranquil atmosphere, beautiful location surrounded by tea plantations, and a nearby waterfall. The church is a popular stop for those traveling to Balaji Temple and Akkamalai Hills. An annual festival is held in September, attracting many visitors. The approach to the church involves a climb of around 50 steps from the road, and parking is limited to a small curve accommodating only a couple of cars.
Our visit to this[sight.name] was a nice and calming experience.Our guide was really great and made sure to keep sharing all the relevant information with us. The place is majestic and brings in so much peace and quiet within you.
Visiting this awesome place has been such an awesome and pleasant experience. I was not hoping for it to go so well for me but it turned out the place and the people are simply great. Loved it here and will surely come back again.
