Adyar Poonga River Restoration Park is a 58-acre urban oasis created through the restoration of the Adyar River. The park features carefully landscaped parkland with native plantings designed to recreate a natural setting. Artwork integrated throughout the walking paths enhances the experience, and an information center details the ecological revival process and current biodiversity. Prior permission is required for visits, making it a less crowded and more focused experience for those interested in ecological restoration.
This was a beautiful park which has pretty scenery and lush greenery. It has walking pathways with proper trails lined with pretty trees and there are also plenty of benches to sit there for the people. The musical fountain was the highlight and it was amazing.
This was not on our list to travel and visit but we decided to take a little detour and visited this place and this turned out to be a great adventure and we really enjoyed our time here. It was a place worth visiting and I recommend the visit to this place to everyone.
