Kala Gaura Bhairav Temple, located 4 km from the main crossing of Sawai Madhopur, is a significant religious site known for its distinctive worship of Lord Bhairav. Unlike many temples where Bhairav idols are placed outside, this temple houses two idols of the deity as the primary objects of veneration. The temple features multiple levels, requiring visitors to ascend several steps to reach the main shrine, though a ground-level window allows for distant viewing of the deity. A small temple dedicated to Lord Baldev with several kunds containing holy water is also present at the ground level. The temple is noted for the continued practice of tantrik kriyas.
