Umed Garden is a historical site established by Maharaja Umed Singh, blending the functions of a garden and a zoo. The grounds feature a variety of flora and fauna, including birds, monkeys, deer, and emus. Beyond the natural elements, the garden also houses a Lord Shiva temple, the Sardar Government Museum, and the Sumer Library, a notable architectural landmark with a collection of historical books. The garden hosts a 'Mela' during Sawan Somvars. While once a vibrant space, some visitors note a decline in maintenance over the years.
This is a must visit place in the city and it is beautiful. The place is centrally located and you can easily reach it. The stories and the facts of this place are very interesting and make way for an entertaining tour.
This park is amazing and has beautiful scenery. It is a perfect spot to take a good walk or even go for a run. There is a dedicated trail, well managed in the park. The trees by the trail are just beautiful and provide a lot of good air. There are also benches in the park where you can sit and relax.
We booked a tour package and thought that this would be a good way to see all the major sites of the city but it turned out to be nothing great. The tour bus stopped at all places but had not much time to make us roam around the area. Seemed like they were in a rush all the time and were not good with the local knowledge and culture. It was also expensive, which was not a great thing.. This is the most scenic town in this city and we decided to take a weekend trip with our family and kids . The place is so nice and has so many interesting things to do and places to visit that you wont be bored at all. Overall, it made up for a perfect family vacation and we are glad to have chosen this place.
It is a great place to stay and gives you much luxury and comfort at a great price. The service is great and the management was very prompt and was very helpful and assisted us with everything. The rooms were big and spacious, well maintained and the views from the window of the city skyline was just stunning. Loved my experience here!
