Jait Sagar Lake is a large water body situated on the outskirts of Bundi, Rajasthan. The lake is surrounded by hills and is known for its seasonal lotus flowers and the Sukh Mahal, a summer palace where Rudyard Kipling is believed to have written portions of his novel 'Kim' in 1901. A government museum is located nearby, though it has been reported as occasionally closed. The lake's condition varies, with some areas experiencing litter accumulation, while others remain clean and offer peaceful views. The area around the lake is developing, with plans for potential hotel construction having been previously considered.
