The Mayo College Museum, located within the prestigious Mayo College in Ajmer, is a unique institution dedicated to preserving the history of the school and the broader cultural heritage of the region. Established as a repository for items donated by old boys, parents, and supporters, the museum spans 18 rooms and houses a diverse collection of artifacts. These include rare weaponry, items used by former Maharajas, hunting trophies, and objects reflecting the academic life of the college during British rule. The museum provides a fascinating insight into the educational standards and the lives of those associated with this historic institution.
It was one the greatest experiences we had. We loved the place and more than the place the people were simply amazing. The hospitality and the warmth provided to us was beyond expectation and we are forever grateful.
We had a great tour of this place thanks to our amazing guide and friend. He made sure that we know everything about the place and even went above and beyond with showing off things, being hospitable and having a great interaction with. The tour of the place was made awesome only because of his knowledge and kindness.. While making our itinerary, we included this place towards the end and thought that incase we are behind time, we will skip it. But thank God, we didnt because it was one of the greatest places to visit. Easily accessible, conveniently located, gorgeous location and the easy navigation for the entire tour of this place made it much more fun and enjoyable. I will suggest everyone to please visit this place.
